Van Horton

Van Horton has been immersed in the music scne in North Carolina for over 20 years, starting out as a resident DJ and Production Manager for NC State University''s student run radio station, WKNC 88.1 FM, from 2000-2003. A multi-instrumentalist, Van Horton has also been invloved with various musical projects such as The Violet Exploit(Bass Guitar) and Left Early(Guitar, Bass Guitar).  Van Horton also received an Emmy Award in 2006 for his role as a Graphics Operator for Sunday Night Football on NBC. Hailing from a small town in North Carolina, Van Horton has been producing and performing electronic synthwave since 2019. He is also considerd to be one of the most prolific and original House DJ/Producers in North Carolina, having played at venues like The Fruit in Durham, North Carolina, Cats Cradle in Carborro, North Carolina and Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw, North Carolina.  Van Horton's latest synthwave album 'Alive' is out now on all streaming platforms.
